3. Products and Services

Product Descriptions

We strive to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, and pricing for all items. However, we do not warrant that descriptions, images, or other content are completely accurate, current, or error-free. We reserve the right to correct errors and update information.

Availability

All items are subject to availability. Many pieces are one-of-a-kind or limited quantity. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue items, or refuse orders at our discretion.

Pricing

All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify prices, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.

Specialized Services

Genealogy research, authentication services, and appraisals are provided based on professional expertise. Results depend on available records and historical documentation. We make no guarantee of specific findings but commit to thorough professional effort.

4. Orders and Payment

Order Acceptance

Placement of an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline orders at our discretion. Order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance until payment is processed and item availability is verified.

Payment Terms

Payment is required at time of purchase unless other arrangements are made for specialized services. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and electronic transfers. Payment information is processed securely through encrypted systems.

Cancellation and Refunds

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement if items have not shipped. Refunds are provided for defective items, significant misrepresentation, or at our discretion. Custom research services and authentication work are non-refundable once commenced.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without written permission. Photographs and descriptions of items may not be used for commercial purposes.

Artisan work, nautical artifacts, and Celtic items sold through our shop may be subject to their own intellectual property considerations, which we will disclose as relevant.

Services Provided "As Is"

Our website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

Authentication and Research

While we use professional methods for authentication and genealogy research, we cannot provide absolute certainty. Historical records may be incomplete, and attributions reflect best professional judgment based on available evidence.

Antique Items

Nautical antiques are sold as historical artifacts with condition accurately reported. Age and use result in wear appropriate to item history. We do not guarantee operational functionality for vintage equipment unless specifically stated.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services or products. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow liability limitations, so these may not apply to you.
